That’s the mission of PA Challenge—officially known as the Pennsylvania College Access Challenge Grant Program (PA CACGP)—a program designed to help more Pennsylvanians graduate from high school, enter college, and reach the careers of their dreams.

PA Challenge offers resources in schools, communities, and on the web to help with the many steps along the way to college success. It is part of the national College Access Challenge Grant Program.

PA Challenge is made possible by Project GRAD USA, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA). Project GRAD USA is the nation’s largest college access program for economically disadvantaged youth, currently serving more than 134,000 students in 213 schools across the nation. See what’s in it for you!

Spotlight:
Walk For Success

image

Volunteers across Pennsylvania recently held GRAD Walks for Success. For instance, more than 50 volunteers participated in Lancaster's Walk for Success. During the Walk, all eighth grade students and parents in the district were encouraged to sign a College Access Covenant, thereby committing to the students' success. The Walk and Covenant are important tools in increasing high school graduation and college attendance.
